Nice campsite in a great location
What a lovely campsite. We had a very spacious spot for our camper van close to the entrance to the forest. The sanitary facilities were cleaned several times a day. The surrounding area is great for walking and cycling. I also liked the fact that there is a nice restaurant with a spacious terrace in the village of Gasselte. It's within walking distance of the campsite, which is great if you don't feel like cooking. There is also a restaurant next to the campsite. It looked fine. I didn't go there, so I can't say anything about it. You are also 5 km from Borger, where you will find all the amenities you need for shopping and restaurants.

A very beautiful campsite with lovely pitches! Excellent and spotless sanitary facilities and washing-up areas.
The staff are extremely friendly, and you can clearly see how well the campsite is cared for.

A lovely, relaxed campsite in a top location
For several years now, after our holiday we decide once again to spend our autumn break at Camping de Berken the following year. A beautiful, spacious pitch with private sanitary facilities, direct access from the campsite to the purple heather route, lovely cycling routes starting right from the campsite, and excellent restaurants nearby. Here, we have everything we enjoy.

Lovely chalet
Had a wonderful stay in a lovely (4-person) chalet with a covered terrace. Comfortable box-spring bed, large bathroom with a nice shower. Clean and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Went on some beautiful walks, starting right from the campsite. Also went on some lovely bike rides. I would love to come back here!
One minor drawback is that the WiFi doesn't always work well.
