In 2026, we will be renewing several facilities at Camping de Berken. This includes a fully renovated sanitary building, enlarged comfort pitches, a tent field renamed as a nature camping field, and the introduction of a wheelchair-accessible Life chalet. Discover what will change in the coming season.

From 2026, you can stay at Camping de Berken in a new wheelchair-accessible 4-person Life chalet. An accessible and comfortable accommodation for guests who require extra convenience and space.

On Sunday 8 March and Saturday 28 March, you are very welcome at Camping de Berken for our viewing day. It is a lovely opportunity to take a relaxed walk around the campsite, gain inspiration and discover which pitch best suits your holiday plans.

In 2026, several comfort pitches will be renovated and redesigned with more space. With artificial grass, updated connections, larger pitches and a quieter setting, we offer our guests even greater camping comfort.

In 2026, the second sanitary building at Camping de Berken will receive a complete upgrade. With new materials, modern facilities and extra comfort for families and children.

From 1 April 2026, our familiar car-free tent field will be given a new name and purpose. It will become the nature camping field. From 1 April to 11 July 2026, this field will welcome caravans with an awning or porch awning, in addition to tents and trailer tents. During this period, the pitches are referred to as nature pitches.
From 11 July onwards, the field will once again consist of tent pitches exclusively for tents and trailer tents.

New in 2025 at Camping De Berken: more comfort, adventure and convenience

In the winter of 2023/24, our 8 to 10-person holiday home was completely renovated. This winter, this new holiday home is also available to rent. Will you come and enjoy the peace and quiet of the winter season? Experience life at a campsite, even in the colder months.

In 2024, the 1st toilet block, located near the camper pitches and comfort pitches 36 to 48, was completely renovated. Including new tiles, seamless cast floor, walls and water-saving taps at the sinks, this building will be completely up to date again. Read more about what we are doing soon!

Preparations for the 2024 season are in full swing! From a new luxury family house for rent to a renovated toilet block, this is what has all been renewed and changed at Camping de Berken.

Nothing better than waking up and having breakfast with freshly baked buns, right? This year, we have a new sandwich service, in collaboration with our local bakery 'Echte Bakker Timmer'. You can choose from a wide range of sandwiches, such as croissants, kaiser rolls, tiger buns and much more. Fancy something sweet? You can also order pastries, cakes and chocolate!

We provide the 6-bed chalets with a handy family box with family games. You can also hire a high chair and a cot for free in 2023. The children's bedrooms will be pimped up, especially in a children's theme. Everything to enhance the experience for the whole family! • WIFI has been upgraded with more antenna masts and new equipment.
• We are trying to generate more and more of our own energy by investing in solar panels.
• It is now also possible to rent a rental chalet for 4 people and bring the dog along.
• Pitch 95 has become a large comfort pitch on a field with rental chalets
• The pitches with private sanitary units 14 and 15 have been enlarged by placing posts instead of bushes
• The private sanitary units 145 - 154 have electric water heaters instead of geysers

During the winter we work hard to optimize the grounds again for the next year. Therefore, we will not be open to campers until April 1, 2023. Are you curious about our grounds?
