In the 2026 season, we will renovate the second sanitary building at Camping de Berken. The building will undergo a complete makeover so that it fully meets the current expectations of our camping guests. With new materials, modern facilities and a fresh look, we will provide even more comfort during your stay.
What will be updated?
The sanitary building will be thoroughly modernised inside and out. Key improvements include:
- new wall tiles for a light, fresh appearance
- a low-maintenance poured floor without joints
- new taps and showers
- sensor taps at the wash basins for improved hygiene and water saving
- an extra spacious gents’ and ladies’ toilet area
- a raised shower designed especially for children
- new exterior colours
- the use of attractive wood for a warm, natural look
With these upgrades, the sanitary building will once again fully meet our quality standard, creating a comfortable and hygienic environment for all campers.
Planning of the works
The works will take place outside the camping season to minimise disruption for our guests. In January, the new poured floor will be installed. In February, the interior will be further fitted out by Kupan. This will be followed by the final installation work. The renovated sanitary building will be completed before the start of the 2026 camping season.
